June has been in the framing profession for over 35 years. Her involvement in the industry ranges from working at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, teaching for the Professional Picture Framers' Association (PPFA) in the U.S. and Canada, to running industry based workshops here in Australia.
A Londoner, June has been living in Australia for the past 23 years. In 1993 June started The Framing School in Sydney. At the same time she owned and operated a framing studio where she specialised in conservation framing for museums and galleries, such as The Art Gallery of NSW, Historic Houses Trust of NSW and The Australian National Maritime Museum.
In 2007 she sold her framing business, allowing her more time to concentrate on The Framing School. This has allowed her to provide a broader curriculum as well as one-on-one tuition for students.
June is an educator with a wealth of experience both in Australia and overseas. She has the ability to make the most complex - and the most basic - procedures easily understood, is a regular contributor to the art and framing magazine, "Profile", (www.profilemagazine.com.au) as well as a guest speaker at The Framing Show and the Photo Marketing Association Imaging Technology Show (www.pmaaustralia.com.au)
June is a Guild Commended Framer, awarded by The Fine Art Trade Guild, U.K.
